I go back and forth on folding underwear. Part of me thinks, why even bother? It takes time to fold, it's harder to keep neat, and sometimes it’s actually easier to see what you have when everything is loose in the drawer.

But then I fold…and remember how satisfying it is to open a drawer and see everything neatly lined up. There’s something oddly calming about it.

For clients who love the look but not the upkeep of perfectly folded underwear, we find professional closet organization has a happy medium: simple drawer dividers and a quick “pseudo-fold,” grouping pieces by style and/or color.

Organizing isn't always picture perfect — it’s creating a system you can maintain.
